spider-fly incident

One of the few morbid things i find interesting...

I was having my lunch of rice, fish, bitter gourd and fishballs. not really my favourite but it was still my lunch. Halfway through, a pesky little insect called FLY invaded my lunch. I believe everbody has the experience of being bugged by a fly when you are trying to enjoy your lunch. it flew around me waiting for the perfect chance to strike. I was doing a fairly good job of protecting my lunch but failed in the mission of at least hitting Mr. FLY to coma if not to a pulp. Unfortunately, all my valiant efforts went to waste. the FLY finally found an opening and passed my line of defence and reached my food.... =(

I am a very picky person, NO WAY i was gonna eat any fly-infested food. puh-lease...Outraged, i went and stuffed my lunch into the microwave hoping to kill some bacteria. while waiting, I went and took out the FLY-swatter and declared war with the FLY!!! Sadly for me, the pest had disappeared once the aroma of food disappeared. annoyed, knowing that the fly would come back to attack once the food came out of microwave. I went and refilled my bowl of soup by the stove, totally irritated. suddenly, there was a buzzing sound and a black thing dropped on the side of the stove. I first thought it was 2 flies mating passionately, but when i looked closer, one of them did not have wings. curious, i looked closer. Amazed, it was not flies mating, but a spider and fly fighting. IT WAS THE FLY!!!! after struggling for a minute or so, both of them went quiet. the FLY was poisoned to death i think. the spider slowly dragged it back to it's lair/web, but not before i caught some pictures.

I thank the spider for helping me take my revenge,(my that sounds morbid...) although it would tasted sweeter if i was the one.... hehe... conclusion: This is such an unexpected world, fascinating really... I salute the spiders.
